Both ASV hulls were significantly more efficient than the conventional monohull (benchmark), not only at design speed, but throughout the full speed range. The ASV monohull was the most efficient of the two; showing up to 40% + reduced hull resistance.
To secure a construction friendly superstructure with a contemporary shape illustrating fast speed ( 30 knots +) the enclosed test vessel lay out has been chosen. Another ASV adapted superstucture is also showing in the enclosed images.
